The adverse weather prior to Christmas meant we cancelled the original day for the Christmas Frolic. This was re-arranged for the 13th January and twelve of us ventured out to play. The weather forecast was grim and there were traffic jams to contend with especially for those coming in to Cambridge from the west and so things didn't bode well. However, for those that chose to play on the day everything turned out fine. The course proved to be a real challenge and in excellent condition, taking due account of the amount of rain that had fallen in the previous 24 hours; the clubhouse was a delight too with lovely food and service. Everyone had a wonderful time. Christmas being over there were none of the normal "everyone gets a prize" so we reverted back to 1st 2nd &3rd, NP & NPI2 prizes.

and
3rd Steve Bartha.
With Malcolm & S Bartha taking the NP & NPI2 prizes too.
