Wheatley Bowl and Rabbits Cup - 6th September

This year's Wheatley Bowl and Rabbits Cup took place at the John O'Gaunt club. We had the opportunity to play 29 holes - with 11 holes Texas Scramble format in the morning on the Cathagena Course and 18 holes on the John O'Gaunt course in the afternoon. Nineteen people turned up to play and were treated to two very good courses were in very good condition with the greens being very quick and true. The weather was squally moderate winds and fine in the morning,

with the wind becoming more severe in the afternoon coupled with a short spell of rain just before we finished which proved to make the afternoon more difficult.
