The Nortel's Spring Trophy took place at Hanbury Manor on Monday 30th March 2009.This was a superb location that has excellent facilities and the food was very good quality. The course was a little muddy in parts of the fairways on holes 10-18 following a downpour the previous day, but otherwise it was in excellent condition.
The weather was fine on the day, as you'll see from the slideshow below. All in all an excellent day's golf.

Guest prize...
secured by Mr Bob Powley with the best score on the day of 36 points... Well done Bob!Note that the average score for the Nortel's Society (excluding guests & longer handicappers) was 27.6 points. And so for the first time in a while, the guest and long handicapper average was higher (at 28.2 points). The low score means that Adam is the only one to have a handicap change from 23 to 22 for winning.
The next event will take place at Malton GC for the Beaver Trophy, a two course meal and the AGM on the 21st of April.
