NORTEL Golf Society BLOG

The Nortel Golf Society, established in 1955, was originally a "BT employee only" society but has of late extended it's membership to non-BT people too.
We hold golf days at private courses in north London, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire area of England on most months of the year.
A typical event includes an 18-hole game of golf played to Stableford rules and a reasonably priced meal in the clubhouse afterwards. In addition, there is an annual singles and pairs competition, a Christmas frolic and a captain versus chairman’s match day; where funds raised at this last event go to the Captain’s Charity.

"Our philosophy is to have friendly but competitive matches with lots of social interaction, especially at the 19th hole".
We wish to encourage responsible golfers with a handicap of 24 or better to join the society. People interested in joining us are welcome to attend any of the events as a guest before deciding to join the society.
